Nokia Series 40 Full Touch Design Guidelines

Following our last couple of posts about user experience and user interface design, PhoneSplurt dug even deeper. What we found out is something helpful and relevant even today, from the Nokia Series 40 Full Touch Design Guidelines page.

The introduction page "Be UX" shows on a grid layout what should be thought of when designing a good user experience. Each chapter includes two example screenshots from a mobile handset and things to remember listed to their left.

The design guidelines are pretty much universally applicable and thus very useful if you are working on an app of your own for a touchscreen device. PhoneSplurt feels that the Be UX -page is the single most important part of this site and pushes a lot of information into a nutshell. Be sure to check the rest of the site out too!
